Well I finally got to try one of these amps. I was really looking forward to it because Ive been gassing for a new amp but after playing this amp I was really disappointed. The amp didn't get brittle or harsh at all but it didn't have a very smooth sound quality to it either. I know the DR.Z is modeled somewhat after the vox sound but tbh I think I would prefer the Vox to the DR.Z. But at the same time I would much prefer my Twin Reverb to either amp and now this is the 4th amp I have tested to my Twin Reverb and I just havent found any amp that tops it.
I have truly fallen in love with everything Fender and I think I realize now finally why so many amazing guitar players used and still use Twin Reverbs. They are the best damn amp ever made !!!!!!!
