I recently moved my peavey xxx combo amp from combo to head cabinet. Now when I turn up the reverb anywhere past 2 o'clock I hear a very high pitch whistle sound. I mean nearly dog whistle high pitched (I imagine, I'm not a dog so I can't say for sure) and it is a constant stream of sound. The reverb works perfectly, it is just accompanied with that sound when cranked to almost max.
I actually prefer my hardwire reverb pedal for my reverb needs, so this isn't an emergency, I'm just curious what might be wrong and if there is any way to fix it.
