I have wanted this pedal for so long but thought it was too pricey so I put it off for so long. I finally just bit the bullet and ordered it from Prymaxe with free shipping.

Should be here sometime next week and I will write up my thoughts then and add some pictures.

Anyone play with one of these, what were your thoughts ?

It will be taking the place of my Big Muff PI on my board, I could not be more excited

goanna be broke for the rest of the month but soooo worth it

Where did you find one of these for sale?

Please sell it to me at 50% of retail after you've made sure it works properly.

tunnel vision music on ebay are great sellers. I messaged them that no info has been tracked in 4 days and they are contacting USPS and trying to track down my package.

Nice to get good customer service....

I will emphatically express my interest in purchasing that pedal from you when you buy it and hate it.

You will hate it so badly that you will give me a stupid deal just to see it gone.

Please.

haha.. we shall see Empty Pockets.

Maybe I will hate it, But seeing how alot of my favorite guitar players use one I got a feeling it will stick..

Quick little review after playing with it for a few minutes... WOW it adds some serious oomph to my big muff and mids aswell and sputtery overtones.. Very chunky sounding and nails the Queens Of the Stone age sound no problem. I was not a big fan of the dirty switch on this Stone deaf, it cut the volume and did not stack as nicely as when in the clean mode. Great tone shaping tool aswell, it easily got QOTSA "keep your eyes peeled" tone and Millionaire tones with the bandwidth setting on thin and the frequency at around noon. Very fun pedal, I will try to record something with it and show you guys but it will probably be recorded on my phone as I don't have a very good recording setup at my house just now.

Glad you're digging yours. I happened to stumble upon one for a stupid price today.... Can't wait to get it home and plug it in.

Re: I finally did it....NPD Stone Deaf PDF-1

Plugged it into my Marshall Class 5 & Orange 412... Very powerful little ****, isn't it? It's like an extremely clinical and precise OD... Can't wait to play with the big amps and the other pedals tomorrow...

Re: I finally did it....NPD Stone Deaf PDF-1

Oh man I know the dirty mode is good but I like the clean mode stacked with other fuzzes... Sounds so good!

Re: I finally did it....NPD Stone Deaf PDF-1

here is a phone recording I made of the Stone Deaf PDF-1 with a EHX Hot Tubes before it. trippy intro

Been spending some time with this box... It's definitely a keeper.

It's basically magic. It can do insane things. Love it in dirty mode as an OD, but I put it after my dirt pedals to fine tune the sound. I dial in a good sound for all my other pedals, then this thing not only boosts or cuts the frequencies I want it to, but it "sweetens" the overall tone. I am taking lots of dirt pedals out of my chain because this one is so much better.

Re: I finally did it....NPD Stone Deaf PDF-1

Could not agree more Empty Pockets... this thing just sweetens your already dirty tones when placed after fuzz/distortion pedals. I have mine set up for a 20 db mid boost (Frequency knob pointed at P in the word INPUT on top )

Sounds great with my fulltone Ultimate octave especially. You won't regret trying one out!
