  • Help with board female pin removal

    Hi
I'm replacing an LCD display in my old ART SGX2000 and the 5v supply to the display requires reverse polarity.
The easy way is to snip the wires and swap them but I'd rather push the female pins out of the 16 pin board to display connectors and reverse them ( pin 15 to pin 16 )
So looking at the pics there is a tiny gold coloured barb which I'm guessing needs depressed and simultaneously the female unit pushed out . Any tips how you do that without damage?

They make a removal tool. But barring that ... staples. Regular staples.
