  • 4-button foot-switch with TRS jack

    Hello, World!

I want to make a foot-switch for my amps as the title says. I’ve had a 1-button TS switch and a 2-button TRS switch. The thing is, the new OS for the Katana gives you 2 banks on each channel. You can select any of those with a 2-button TRS switch, but is confusing AF and non-intuitive at all. Therefore my question:

    - Can it be done?
    - How?

In principle, the channels are selected by a combination of OFF-OFF, ON-OFF, OFF-ON & ON-ON. Is there a way to wire four switches, either in series, parallel, using diodes, etc... to be able to get these four combinations?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Cheers,
    Walter

It’s not a 4-button. Only single and double are available.
