    Digitally controlled analog audio circuit is what they are meaning I believe.

    BBE 422A vs 882i

    I have 422A in my fx loop for last few years - and I love it! But as I understand it, somewhere in there signal does get converted into a digital form. And on rare occasion i hear some of that flatness during certain types of parts. BBE says that 882i is "all analog" - is it?
