golden boy i just had my 1980 PARK apart and my pc board looks different than both of your different caps . it looks like your marshall has mustards in it does it sound better ? later scott

The Park does lower gain stuff better than the Marshall. At higher gain (and higher volume) the Marshall is louder and more 'present.' It also has more 'not super gainy' headroom.

dammit - you guys have got me gassing for a MV marshall, and I haven't even finished modding my Plexi!!

I'll probably get one of these when I start my amp modding business, the justification of the purchase will be "I need one for research"
