  • Mesa/Boogie DC-3

Well.... I have a opportunity to buy a Mesa/Boogie DC-3. I've got a couple of question's about the amp. A). Will 35 watts keep up with a full band? Thats the biggest thing, it's a 35 watt combo I need to know if that will keep up with a band and B). Versatility, i'm not looking for some kind of super amp but decent cleans to a good high gain is expected from a mesa, true for this amp?

    Anyways, thanks in advance guys.

Thanks, so it's loud enough i take it. How about tone? high gain, clean's, mid gain. How would you rate it?

the dc-10 (100 watt version) has plenty of gain for metal. Sorry, I havn't played a DC-3, I do know that the DC-10 is too powerful for me right now... I would be willing to take a DC-3 and I play with a band in some big venues. It will be plenty powerful to play with a band.
