    My opinion is that more mids will help, but I don't think a mid-boost or other additional effect is in order. I think fundamentally, though, it starts with clean technique with no other strings ringing out unintentionally. I think more gain might help as well within reason.

    better pickups should help - for example, scatterwound pickups generally have more harmonics than machine wound pickups...

    Is there an easy solution to getting cleaner richer tap harmonics? Will a treble booster or a mid boost push the notes to clean bell like quality?
