AHA that makes much much more sense!

Mine is a lame-o 1985 2205, but it was modded by Harry Kolbe.

Why don't you take your little Cobra Kais and get outta here?!

          Beautiful looking set.

          Really beautiful. Play it hard.

RCA 6550s... I've been looking for a set of those for a while. What's in the preamp slots?

            NEVER EVER SELL IT....

Vintage Market isn't "there" yet...but eventually that amp will be a "Holy Grail"

Personally those and the 72-ish to mid 70s NMV amps are my fave Marshalls ever...

Next thing is to check what kind of speakers are in the cab!

Not sure about the clips. Never used it on the album, that much I know.
Harry took it apart and rebuilt it faster, stronger, better. It's quiter, has way more dynamic range, greater harmonic detail, and better sounding gain now.

                    Bionic amp...way cool

So you didn't have any gain stages added or anything....

No. Harry and I discussed it as a possibe 'down the road thing', and I'm glad I never did that, in retrospect.

G12H is my guess I'm told the speakers say 30's on the sticker. I'm going to get some new screws for it because the old ones are pretty stripped, so I'll report back. I'm also told that the same sig. and DOP is on the inside of the cab.

The preamps are all GT's right now. I expect to get a warmer sound from the JJ's being in the preamp. The 6550's although they don't sound bad are not quite to my liking. I have to wonder if those are the original tubes too. I guess they'll be setting in the closet from the re-bias forward.

That's pretty darn good for that combo (amp and cab). I've seen much higher prices, closer to $2k.
