  • Tube amps vs modelers

    What do you guys prefer? Do they really sound much different? Why do you like one more than the other? And just discuss...

    Amplification:
    Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier

    I find there is a feel difference between Mod, and tube amps... It does not feel the same.... a real amp feels more alive and less simulated.... i have a few modeling pieces and they sound great! But it's the feel that is missing....

            No problemo. I think that it covers most of the questions related to tube vs. digital. They both have pros and cons, but you have to decide which one is right for you. Both, maybe?

              Wow I've never played a tube amp before but I've had a POD for almost as long as I've been playing and I always thought it was godly. Lol looks like I've really been missing out all this time.
