Recently, while I was @ a local guitar store, i saw a Peavey Sessionmaster 400 for $250. I am a relatively beginner guitarist, about to make the jump from a 15 watt solid state (ya, I know) to something worth playing on. question is, should i beg and plead more than I have been, or should I let it pass and get one myself when I scrape together enough cash?

...did you mean Session 400,500 or Session 400 Ltd...? (never heard of a Sessionmaster?!?)..... Is it new or used?
