  • Humming in amp

I have had this pignose G40 for about 8 or 9 months now, and haven't really used it much. It has always had this hum sound, and it gets louder whenever I have it on.

I have tried new tubes, and that didn't help at all. It seemed to get worse as I turned up the presence control, almost like it wasn't grounded or something.

Any ideas on what to look for so I can tear this thing open, and get it working?

Yep. Sometimes I've also noticed that if I have had it tilted back, it hums more than when it is straight. I don't know if that makes any sense, but that's the way it's been 'working'.
