  • Just pulled the trigger on a Hotone Ampero....

I sure hope I love this thing because for me, it was a little pricy. Got it direct from Hotone in pink...yes, pink. Got it brand new for three and a half, probably because of the color so I got the pink. I have the HX Effects which I'll now be selling, but I wanted to try all modeling to lighten the load when playing out. I'm older, not in the best shape, and lugging around the 1X12 combo and the effects, and all this and that...ooofa. I'm half dead by the time I've loaded it into the car, then into the club, then setting up (I sing and play keyboards too, so I've got three setups to do).

How many of you use total modeling rigs and what do you think the best power amp would be? I would be using a Marshall 2X12...on wheels...with the T75 speakers (older, more mid rangy version). I'm loving what I'm reading about the Seymour Duncan Powerstage and have the utmost faith in Duncan products. That being said, is there something a bit lower in price that would be good for bars and small clubs, or do I need the power that the 170 has?
    My songs....enjoy! (hopefully )
