Man the thing does sing! I have an older special one-off Rockmod !!+c that smokes, but the new one is really a step up all the way around. I got to play on it for about 20 minutes. Used a Les Paul and a Fender semi-hollow Strat like guitar.
The Clean channel can get you into that Matchless/Badcat area. Sheer brilliance and presence. There's an option to boost it and adjust the clean gain and it gets you right into Blackface Deluxe or Dr. Z area. Just a slight hint of breakup while retaining clarity.
The Crunch channel is tight! Again everything retained clarity and definition Really has that classic Marshall type tone, but not so over the top. Lot's of sizzle... Pure Rock n Roll!
The Burn Channel is like a Stun-Gun of Gain! No matter how much gain I added, it still held up on the definition. I had it cranked pretty loud. Singing sustain for days. Even when I rolled back the volume pots on the guitar it still was real responsive and the amp cleaned up real nice and don't lose part of the tone, because the amp wasn't getting hit hard on source input.
These aren't just high gain preamps, but really an ultra versatile tool. You could use it from anything from Country to Alt-Metal with no issues I believe. If you haven't seen them yet, here is their link... http://www.kashaamplifiers.com
Oh... And they are shipping now!
