                great question -I think I've heard maybe 3 in my life that I can recall specifically.

                2 sounded like extremely tuned and voiced hot bassman style circuit amps like a vintage Marshall, and the other was a super bright chimey affair.

                1 was at a studio in Nashville in 2000ish
                1 was at a booth at NAMM in 1996 (Chimey one)
                1 was at a guitar show maybe 15 years ago.

                I've never seen one used for a live show that I can remember.
