I will say the Peavey Classic 20 gets great cleans as expected but also has some great high gain tones. That little amp chugs and chugs well. Especially when you gain stage the gain and the boost.

It is indeed its own thing. I dig it. As much as I'm a Marshall-sound guy, sometimes you want something different. I have a little Pro Jr. for Fender, and Marshall/Mesa for Marshall. This fits in the space between nicely.Originally posted by Bad City

I run an Emery SuperBaby, which runs actual EL34, or KT88, or 6CA7, or 6551, or any octal you want. Sounds like the big amps at mini volume levels.
