what does everyone think of these amps, I played a 15watt one the other day. They kinda reminded me of Fenders hot rod series. My buddy who works at a local shop here in cincinnati told me they tend to blow up though.

I like mine. Do a search under Palomino and you should find several threads.

I've got the biggest model in the lineup--50w and 2x12". I like it, but my footswitch doesn't always work, blah! I've been using it differently lately though. I've been keeping it in the overdrive channel and turning the volume down on the guitar to get cleans, then using an overdrive pedal to get distortion...and man, it's thick and heavy. Overall I think they're a great value, and a good way to get into tube amps.

The V3112 is a great amp. Get one with the Tone Tubby speaker and you'll be in tone heaven. The 15 watter may have issues with heat and such but the 30 watter is solid. Sounds great at any volume but up at about half way it really sings.

Whatever you do, stay away from the Blue Doodoo....I mean Blue Voodoo.
