  • NCD - Can I be Frank?

I finally went back to the pawnshop and the Carvin 4x12 was still there. I got it for $150. I am now on the hunt for a X100B Carvin head to go with it. I am looking from one with the 100w/50w/25w switch on the back seeing this will be mainly for home use. Gonna fire it up in a little while with the Peavey Classic 20 head.

This will be my Zappa/Vai tribute setup once all the parts are in place.

They look like the original GT12 speakers I haven't opened her up yet.

No, you can't be Frank. Because Falbo is Frank.

But you can get a super awesome score. Making me think I should have got that Mesa with the grate...

No way to spend a better $150 than that. Too. Cool

I am digging the cab it chugs nicely, Going from my 1x15 to the 4x12 I had to drop the treble on the amp a bit to get the tone I like. I also had to push a bit more air to really get the voice of the cabinet. I am ordering some Ernie Ball pop-out casters seeing this amp seems to be heavier than my Marshall.

Being redundant yet enthusiastic doesn't mean I'm not still correct.
