The 100 just has a little more versatility in sound. I'd say try em both and see which one you like better and then decide if the price difference is worth it. The 100 does allow you to change the shape of the sound wave allowing you to adjust more than just the speed (the 90 you can only adjust the speed if I remember correctly). I had the 100 though. It was a pretty good pedal.
