    Absolutely killer!!!!!!

I've wanted a 2205 for ages, silly money now, scored this '88 combo version for peanuts off the local CL. Super clean, a little musty smelling but holy frijoles it just cooks!

UK V30, JJ EL34L not sure the pre's and it's had the filter caps replaced.

I am guessing it hasn't been used in anger for a while lol

I am taking it in for a once over, changed a couple of pre's but there's something flakey going on with the reverb. Figure it's like buying a nice older car ought to bring it to the mechanic for a check up

I would describe that as the perfect amp. Great sounding, portable, and loud enough to get above the bass and drummer. Also perfect for a recording session. Nice score Scott.

i had one of those years ago. had trace at voodoo mod it for a better clean sound and warmer/fatter dirty tone at lower gain settings. never shoulda sold it. enjoy the amp man, its a beast!

Got it back from the tech today turns out one fo the PT's was flaking out. Got a new pair of Svetlana's, a good cleaning and it sounds fantastic!

Nice. That thing could easily do a gig with a decent 2x12.

It can easily do a gig period. I like an extension cab for coverage but it doesn't need one by any measure. Maybe if I was playing super heavy stuff but otherwise it is plenty
