  • why 2 input on my Cab?

    I just bought an old Carvin V412B cab. its a 4x12

    it has 2 8ohm inputs in the back. what purpose does this serve?

    two possibilitys comes in my mind:
    -Stereo Input
    -or they just parallel to connect a second cab...

    I think some has to join who know this cab exactly...

    or do you know the impedance of each speaker?

        I think I will email Carvin and see if they can help me out. If not then I'll open up cab and get back to you guys.

          Just pop the little jack. If you see two independent wires going off to speakers, it's stereo. If one jack is wired to the other jack, it's just a convenient way to plug in another cab.
