  • Anybody used the Sweetwater Gear Exchange yet?

A great idea for them, I mean, it's like a much more vetted version of Reverb -as Sweetwater has extensive financial and business history with many of these active users.

I haven't use it personally, but I see it a better option for "big ticket" used gear -things over 1k.

Not yet but I hope it works. Pretty tired of what reverb is now.

It is an interesting approach for a music store. I would call it a very cool disruptive business model

As long as you are wanting some new stuff from sweets anyways, then it sounds like a winner in terms of handiness.

Ive got some gear in the 2-4k range that Im going to sell on this new Sweetwater endeavor -I'll report back.

I don't prefer Reverb -to many dealers and people driving everything to one price point, and I love ebay for selling sub 500.00 musical items like pedals etc -but dont like selling expensive things on Ebay.
