  • Is A Fender Acoustasonic 15 Loud Enough?

I’m in a band that uses two 20 Watt Orange Micro Darks with high gain and volume, a 25 Watt Fender Bass Amp, and a PA Speaker for the electric drum kit. Is a 15 watt Acoustasonic loud enough or should I shoot for a higher wattage amp? Keep in mind our budget is somewhat limited.

Are you using the Acoustasonic with acoustic, or re-purposing it for something else? My first guess is that it will be obliterated by the Micro Darks.

I forgot to mention, it’s for vocals.

id guess thats way underpowered. i have a 60w fishman mini and it gets buried in some situations, so now i have a 120w artist as well which is much more robust.

Alright, i’ll try and get something above 60 watts without burning a hole in my wallet.

if its just for vocals, find a powered speaker

A used keyboard amp could also do the trick.
              Take it to the limit

though many keyboard amps dont have xlr inputs so you might need to get an adapter, not a big deal though

This. 60 watts or so for headroom. Probably find used no problem.
