Question about dismantling an amp + shipping the guts...

For a friend who may be interested in buying the guts of my Laney AOR 30 pro tube... Basically he'd want just the preamp + amp, and I'd be left with cab, speaker, transformer... And I'm wondering if anyone has ever done this, what precautions I must take when dismantling it, and how much it may weight so I can find out much it'd be to ship over there Thanks!
Oh and what are those filter caps I MUST avoid touching..?
