I've been really wanting an XT Live for quite some time now. However, a buddy of mine told me a buddy of his was going to sell his used XT and the FBV shortboard (good condition). Now, I know nothing of an XT in combination with a shortboard, and how it measures up against the XT Live, so I thought I better made this thread. I don't know the price-difference (haven't asked him about the price he wants for the used stuff), but that is not important now.
It would have been nice if some of you could point out the pros and cons for both setups.
