TU-2 is fine, most racktuners are better, and Pertersons blow them all away.

The Peterson really is an amazing tuner...my guitars are so much more in tune on stage now that it is on my board. The guitar temperment feature is really cool too. I always had to tweak a bit by ear after using other tuners, but I feel more confident that I'm going to be in tune with the Peterson(granted, I've gotten very anal about tuning over the years). It also works great for intonating my guitars, so I only need one tuner. The DI is a great feature too if you do any acoustic stuff live. I just take my guitar and my peterson and I'm good to go.

I have the Boss and have never had a problem. I've used it plenty and it works fine. I also had the Strobosomp and returned it. While it was a nice pedal it was too much $ for what it was for me. I have an old Conn ST-11 I use at home for setup so the Strobo went back. I figured I would check it out anyway. But the Boss has never let me down. It's not as acurate as a strobe but hey, it's only rock and roll!
