  • Multi tap Impedance selector switch ?

Alright, I'm 99.9% sure I've got it hooked up right. It's your typical Marshall
selector switch. 4,8,16 ohm. Got the common to the output jack ground,Got that to a chassis ground. Got the 4,8,16 ohm wires on their proper lugs. NFB wire ganged on the 8 ohm tap. Wire from the center lug to the positive side of the output jack. Now ... No mater which impedance I select, I have continuity to the output jack? (i.e.) if you put it on 8 ohms 4 and 16 should be out of the circuit? Correct? So A) I have it wired wrong. B) the switch is defective. or C) My OT has a internal short? To make matters worse. I tried to take a impedance reading from the speaker cable... My meter is jumping all over the place? from 30 ohms to 0.1. WTF !
BTW, I'm using the Cliff style jack.
