Re: Tired of the usual suspects??
I love guitar gadjets in general and these LOOK amazing, and the soundclips sound darn good too (though of course, they don't mean all that much...)
The prices seem right for boutique OD, especially considering the sea of other ODs out there. But shipping + taxes most likely means you could get an equally good pedal in your own continent instead of importing it. These seem to have quite their own character based on the definitions though! It could be interesting.

My local shop had the fuzzes, the Tube Zone end the Blues Pro for a test run, and I got to play and comment them. And I was very impressed.
Now I noticed they are starting to import them over here.. Iīm very close to buying a Tube Zone.. GAS here I am.
P.s ...I just bought a Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde on a whim, and now I really regret doing so. When I got it home I discovered it was a piece of crap which I have no use for. So perhaps Iīll sell that one and get the Tube Zone instead.

Re: Tired of the usual suspects??
Check out their new page! He is working on a new Tube Zone generation.
Hey Rid, I checked the clips of the "Crunch Box" out and it has some Shawn Lane tone/vibe going on. Should I go with the Tube Zone (only Brett Garsedīs clip blew me away) or the "Crunch Box"?
The regular clips of the Tube Zone loose against the regular clips of the Crunch Box in my eyes.Originally posted by GuitaristHonestly, I like Scott's words. "There is a rhythm to life. Ride the waves."

Hmm dunno really, it is hard to say what will work with your amp and guitar
More stuff from another amazing maker....I bought one of his pedals, and it is far from the last one I will buy!!

Thanks Rid!
Well, I gotta try the Tube Zone out..if it is not my case Iīll sell it for the same price..they are pretty rare here in Germany (no retailer available here yet) but I mailed them some good stores which are situated in Germany because they want to expandLast edited by StrangeSound; 04-08-2006, 05:17 PM.Originally posted by GuitaristHonestly, I like Scott's words. Re: Tired of the usual suspects??
I listened to Edīs clips. Not a fan of his playing but the tone is great. I was afraid that Brettīs clip was edited in the studio (he said it wasnīt) because it sounds almost too perfect for me and I coulndīt believe this.
Iīm looking foward to the TZ.Originally posted by GuitaristHonestly, I like Scott's words. "There is a rhythm to life. Ride the waves."
