    My new wall of sound !?!

    Oh yes!

    I finaly made it happen. I just bought this morning a Laney LC15R. My first valve amp. How exciting! Unfortunately today is a busy day as I am preparing my trip to Toulouse tomorrow to get my studies moving forward (so close to the end and yet the path seems full of traps).

    Sorry for the crapy pictures but the sunlight is already disappearing, that's what happen in winter when you live in the Great North. So does of you patient enough I'll give a try for a review next week end.

    But don't worry, I'll find some time today to play. It might not be long but I am sure it will intense... Oh joy.

      Sweet.. I really like the design of Laney's, I can't get enough of that chrome chassis with chickenhead knobs.. Looks just like my GH100TI.

            I still have never heard one of these or know anything about what they sound like. I have the impression its similar to a blues jr. Can anyone comment?

              the VC15 would be closer to the blues Jr.. FAIK, these are more modern voiced. not particulary more high gain, but a diferent voicing.

              i'll let ya know when i get it & the recording equipment... should be all set till the end of the month

                  It actually happened really quickly. I bought it just the day before going to Toulouse. It was a pretty hectic day, didn't even try it again as we already tested it. And just made up my mind while coming back from the swimming pool. An hour later it was in my bedroom, sitting pretty.

                  But now, I am ready to take the move for a jam session as it won't kill my arms and back bringing my amp somewhere. Be warned!!!

                  I just came back yesterday from my trip so I only played it on Saturday. Had a busy day today, so no playing today. Hopefully tomorrow or at least Saturday will be the day.
