Well I just went to the practice space today and picked up the PA and bass amp and was going to play a little bass and sing and plugged in the bass amp and turned it on and it just hums REALLY REALLY LOUD. Loud being if I look at the speaker it goes all the way in and just sits there, cable plugged in or not. If I disconnect the speaker and wire it into the PA it plays fine but I have no idea what is wrong if I just use the stock speaker.
The bass amp is a Behringer Ultrabass BX1200. Specs (http://www.behringer.com/BX1200/index.cfm?lang=ENG).
I have a little electrical knowledge and thought maybe it's a grounding issue on that part of the circuit but I wasn't sure. The speaker doesn't appear to be blown but I have no idea how to make sure.
Any tips or things I can do to fix this?
