    Apparently, it's that ungrounded cable - I'm getting one installed as I type, and your amp will be in the mail tomorrow if all goes according to plan. Sorry about the wait, man...and I gotta get some new tubes, too.

    I'm just glad the amp made it there so solidly...I was really worried...did you get some new tubes thrown in there to see if that took care of your noise problem? I know that when I put the EL34's and 12AX7's out of my sister's Laney in there, that problem went away, but obviously I couldn't just gank my sister's tubes to keep Glad you're enjoying it man!

    Looks like a sweet catch man! Vintage Traynors are pretty sweet from what I've heard.

    I also think it's kind of funny that there is a thread called "My Ugly Amp" and one called "My Beautiful Amp"
