Re: Hard Core Cherry Edana Porn!!
Get an ABY and jumper the two channels for a nice boost kick if you're into that thing. Not that you completely change channels, but you get everything set nicely on one channel where you like it, then you boost the hell out of it with the 2nd channel added in via the ABY switch.
We don't need no stinkin' channel switchers!

I've primarily played in the bright input on #1. I have dabbled with the patch chord between channels, but I need to experiment more. I'm not used to amps that have more than one channel with an input. I'm use to footswitcheable amps that change channels when I step on something. I'll check out more of the amp's sonic topography when I get a chance. Channel 2's sounds haven't been explored by themselves yet. Bridged combinations have had short runs, but I kept going back to the bright input on channel 1 on the strat. That sound is incredible.
I'm on the road now. No time to play. When I get back, I'm going to take the amp to see if Jimmy Lowery wants a spin on it with his mid 50's era strat. He thinks its pretty now, but he doesn't know how it's going to sound.

AWESOME HEAD!!!!!!!
I've been Gassin a Celtic since Scott started producing these tone beasts.
Your Cherry Head reminds me of walking into a fine antique store and looking at Louis the XVI's ornate furnature.
Killer quality, the joints on the cab are wonderbah!!
CONGRATS!!!!!
Scott!! U R DA MAN!!!

If it looks like an amp then it's going to get taken to the studio, to gigs, to rehearsals, to jams....it's going to get used!

Scott_F, you are to be congratulated. That is a work of art that looks like fine furniture. GR8Scott, you got one of the nicest looking (and sounding I'm sure) amps I've ever seen. I could never own an amp like that - I would be too scared to even turn it on never mind gig with it!!!
Oh yeah, and I love that *****y/sweet switch - a nice touch!!!

I hear you. I get Lecover gig bags for all my mobile amps. I'm just too lazy to pull the chassis except when rebiasing.

As for taking it out of the house, it may be a good idea to buy an alternate headshell, in case you want to gig often. You could basically sell off some old pedal and use the money for a tolex shell. Since I love using my amp, I grabbed an extra headshell on Ebay, so now I have the option of keeping it in museum condition, but can use it all I want with my canefront headshell.
Tuki padded covers have made the whole issue a non-issue though....they really work....and don't add the weight of a roadcase.

Goodness, that is HOT. It's a beautiful piece of work. Awesome job, Scott. And kudos to your cab vendor. I'm right with Scott on the traditional Marshall look though. It gets my attention every time. Just like big hooters.....
