Does anyone have any experience with the NOS 1970's East German Siemens EL34's? I read that Marshall used these in the 70's and the price seems right when compared to Mullards or even Brimars or Matsu****as.

Re: East German Siemens EL34's
There are several i have seen......everyone seems to be asking around $50-$60 per tube matched. Vacuumtubevalley.com has them listed for $100 a pair. Tejastubes.com has the platinum matched pair (with 1 mA)for $115. For those kind of prices, i would be very tempted to buy at least a quad or maybe 6 and put some of them away for a rainy day.'05 '59 Les Paul RI, WCR Goodwoods
