a combo or head (preferrably a combo) with a vintage look and feel...that has 30 watts or less with fat/open/airy (fendery)cleans...smooth highs and full rounded lows with middle of the road mids (lol), moderate headroom (more than my Jr anyways)...verb would be nice but not neccesary, easy control layout...vol, master, bass, treb, mid, maybe a prescence...takes to pedals well...one or two channels (doesn't matter, hence pedals) in either a 1x12 or 2x12 speaker configuration???????????????? i have some ideas, but i thought i'd throw this out there & maybe see some stuff i haven't thought of originally?

It's a killer amp. I heard it at the Dallas Guitar Show. Bruce and Lew brought one with reverb. OMG, I wanted to take it home so bad...LOL. I played through the 18 Watt a lot. That's a really nice one too for those wanting something in that power range.Comment

the DRRI is a reissue of a classic blackface amp, 22 watts, 1 x 12 - a versatile low powered amp. You really need to try one to get an idea of the tone.Originally posted by Hoss
IIRC, the Blues Deluxe is based on their '59 Bassman Reissue circuit (correct me if I'm wrong) - 2 6L6s, 40 watts, 1 x 12 , with a modern take on a tweed circuit.
I personally think the Blues Deluxes sounded better than the newer Hot Rod versions, which is likely why they reissued them."music heals"
