  • mesa boogie maverick opinions?

    well has anybody played one or owned one ? whats a good price on a used
    2x12? and more important does it sound sick? i play classic rock, metal etc . any help please !

    I owned the 4-10 Maverick about a year ago. Amazing clean sound, very Vox-like midrange. I wasn't to impressed with the overdrive. It would work well for a bluesman to fatten up leads but forget doing anything else with it.

        I've never really heard too much about the maverick. Perhaps its not popular for some good reasons? I'd check out HC, not all of the reviews are BS.

          the blue angel and maverick from boogie are good blues, country and roots rock amps. not metal.
