  • Guitar amp to bass cab?

    Ok so i gots a peavey valve king and i want to hook a bass amp into the extention cab thingy. So would this like mess up the amp or the cab? I know the tone wont be as great but im not a nut when it comes to my bass tone.

    I'm not 100% sure I understand what you are trying to do here? But because you used the word `Thingy' This scares me into thinking you will mess something up. If it's a EXT. Speaker out? It can only go to a speaker. You cannot put this into another amp.

      you can use the peavey to power a bass cab and you wont hurt anything. if you have the valveking combo, watch out for the internal speakers as they may not handle the bass frequencies well.

      if you want to run the signal into another amp use a preamp level signal from a line out or fx loop send. DONT use a speaker out into another amplifier unless you like smoke and expensive repair bills

        Oya I did type that wrong its sppoused to be cab instead of amp. And I belive the internal spaker shuts off when you plug is a ext cab. Thanks alot for all your help.
