Hey fellow users! I'm new to this site but not the name! Just have a question about pickups for my Squier Affinity JBass 5. I've tried searching the net everywhere for the answers and found nothing on it. Which pickups will fit my bass?? All help will be appreciated! Thanks!

Re: Question about pickups for my bass, Squier Affinity JBass 5
Welcome to the forum, and thanks for joining!
For the benefit of those who haven't seen one, a Squier Affinity Jazz Bass V, from the fender.com website. They go for about $330 on the street. (link)
A partial answer to your question: there are Duncan Basslines active and passive 5-string pickups available, along with a separate preamp system.
Squiers and full-line Fenders are mostly a straight swap, although there are some minor differences in the pickup cavity size.
A good luthier won't consider this a challenge.

Yeah they are just standard 5 string jazz bass pups. Pop in a set of actives, and that bass will jam.Schecter ATX Blackjack C7 BKP Painkiller (B) and Abraxas (N)
Hagstrom Hj800 Jazzbox stock pickups
Fender Jazz Bass EMG MJ Set
Music Man SUB Ray5 stock pickups
Line 6 Helix
Dunlop Strings and Picks

Fender Jazz V basses use a longer size of pickup than some other manufacturers (whose 5-string pickups are the same size as the 4-string version.)
I'm guessing Squier would be the same length as Fender, but you should measure and check before you buy anything.
