    One of the world's leading session and touring bassists, Pino was born 17 October 1957 in Cardiff, Wales, UK.

      Pino's my favorite. Monster chops; he's capable of playing all manner of flashy licks, but rarely does. Then, every once in a great while he lets one loose, and... holy crap! He makes me smile.

      Let's not forget this bit of ancient history. He was the fretless Stingray guy (visible at 0:15) long before his current vintage P-bass rootsiness.
