  • Finished up a bass - Texas Toast build up

    Texas Toast body and neck, Gotoh hardware, SD Quarter Pounder p-bass pickup.

    I did a poly finish over black dye on the back and poly over Watco Natural on the front.

    It was done for a buddy of mine.

          I like the sound a lot, I think QP's are great pickups for bass and guitar. It is really punchy and full sounding. Played a bunch of old T-Birds and then a slew of UFO stuff on it and it was great at both.
