So what do the mig-50s sound like? Marshall? Fender? Or do they have their own sound?

I run a Mig50 into that same Avatar 2x12, in stereo with a Mesa Trem-O-Verb 2x12 and I love it to pieces. I expect you will, too.

Opinions on the sovtek mig 50s?

I've been planning on getting a Peavey classic 30 but I've been lookin at different stuff like avatar cabs and the sovtek mig 50. I've heard great things about both of these. the sovtek head was going for about $200 on ebay and the avatar 2x12 loaded with celestion vintage-30s and g12h-30s was going for like $220. would this setup be decent. its about $100 dollars more than the peavey classic 30. if anyone has any comments or concerns about those please post. and suggestions for overdrive pedals are welcome to, one that gets a decent classic hard rock sound. thanks
