  • In praise of the Visual Sounds H2O...

    Wow.

I just bought one of these things (the new, improved version!) to play with, and I'm very impressed. The chorus is lush and sweet, plus it can do a great Leslie impression. If that wasn't enough, there's a built in analog-voiced, digital delay that sounds great as well.

I'm not surprised Kirk Hammett and The Edge love these things!

Oh, and noise issue with the older Visual Sounds pedals seems to be gone.

Noise. So that's the difference? I was wondering what all the hoopla was about the new ones vs. the older models. Did you get that Red one yet?

Yep, and it was a bit of a disappointment. The TS-808 side was great, but the distortion side sucked, IMO. It was way too muddy unless you had the tone knob full up. The Route 66 and H2O are definitely keepers, though.

if their prices on other pedals is an indication, then Reverend direct is likely a good source for those
