  • DeArmond reliability/problems?

Local shop has a nice looking DeArmond in. Of course I'll play it before making any decisions, but does anyone have any experiences about DeArmond guitars to share? How's the stability of the neck, and problems with electronics crapping out, do they intonate properly, any horror stories, anything that happens down the road I should know about?

    Thanks,
    Jacob

I have an M-77T. It's rock solid! Mine has the Dearmond 2K pickups though. It's kind of like a chambered Les Paul withna Bigsby. I supposed it could use better pots, but they seem okay for now.

I've heard great things about their guitars. Nice Guild copies, sorta like Epi with Gibson.

I DO have a DeArmond Goldtone pup and it's great for classic rock.

thats a nice looking guitar. I have a dearmond and it is really a great guitar. I would like to try different pickups in it but thats about all i would change the caps and pots seem okay and my switch is fine too. The bigsby even stays in tune.
