the wrong guitars and didn't even know it till I saw yours! LOL
next time you're out and about the music stores...give one a shot man...i read your post...and you're right...this thing pretty much nails your desription, with the exception of it's a strat style than can give you a little bit of paul and a little bit of strat sounds...they do have paul shaped bodies but not in h-s-h...although he still builds custom stuff...??????

I love that quilt top. Like you, cherry burst is not one of my favorite colors, but on the right piece of wood it looks really classy....and yours does. Glad it's treating you so well....you deserve it.

                  i love the pups!!!!!!

the a2p neck is super smooth...great for me to fiddle around on the fretboard with some mellow bluesy stuff...but don't let that fool ya...it can rock when i want it too

jb bridge...i really can't say enough about it...it's sooo responsive to pick attack...has great bite and articulation...cleans up well...just very, very versatile...

the a2p single coil mixes perfectly with the other two...i use it primarily when i coil tap the other two...then bingo strat on steroids!!!

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Brian Moore, HOSS!

Quick Tip: I installed C5 in the bridge and now it's the best sounding one among my guitars.
