  • Question on wiring schematic

I registered here to see if someone can help with a question. A close friend of mine is needing to find wiring schematics for his guitar. He told me to go to this site SeymoreDuncan.com and I went to the area for info needed - yet the info he gave seems vague - this is what he told me to look for (1-humbucker, 1-volume, 1-tone, 2-2way switch) in all the configurations listed there is not one with these particulars. Am I missing something or is there more info needed? As you can tell this is not my area of intelligence. Just trying to help someone out. If anyone can maybe point me in the right direction or know what it is I am trying to find let me know. By the way I have all admiration and respect for "stringjunkies" I know he gets his highs from plugging in and let'n loose Thats his addiction. And I know it mezmorizes me just to watch his hands move. It's an awesome intoxication!

    Re: Question on wiring schematic

Its the "2 2-way switch" thats odd. He must be refering to either parallel or split switching - or both.

    Try this:

      Re: Question on wiring schematic

Dang that was fast - thanks! He's on a job site so I can't reach him to see if this is what he was wanting. But as you can tell my realm of stupidity is frustrating. Thanks again for the info - if you think of anything else let me know!
