Both are great guitars, but look into MCS guitars first www.mosercustomshop.com !! MCS is run by Neal Moser, the guy responsible for most of the designs at BC Rich from 1974 to 1985. He recently re-designed the Beast with it's original designer, Brian Hoffman of Deicide. The new guitar is called the Beast Master and it's supposed to be a major improvement over the original. Plus, MCS guitars are entirely hand made and cost less than BCR or Jackson. Neal will also work very closly with you to make sure the guitar is exactly how you want it.
