  • Good pracitice bass amp

I need one for practice. I'm a guitar player but it's impossible to find a good bass player for funk/rock/blues around here. So, I'm gonna sacrifice for the band. I can play bass (and I have one) so I need a good practice amp for under $500.

i play guitar & moonlights on bass as well. i got myself the Ibanez Soundwave SW35. i has an additional horn + tilt-back design all for <$500... i bought it because the low end isn't overpowering + it has very good midrange. if you don't need the extra horn/ tilt-back design, the SW20 goes for much lesser. alternatively, if it's strictly for practise & you don't mind a compromised tone/ features, the IBZ10B is a steal... good luck!

    my bass: Musicman SUB (active)
    Psychic Horns

One of those SWR Workman or Workstation. Something like that. They go for barely nothing and they get the job done - even at small-medium sized gigs.
