    Its good to have a few decent guitars - but you have to have something great to start with before you begin upgrading. The guitar must play smoothly and resonate nice, then you could put in nice pickups, etc...

    I'm personally never afraid to invest - and I set aside a budget for it, rather than settling for something I can get right now, and upgrade later.
    Oooh, the envy, I love Heritage Pauls. Get the name on the truss rod, with an axe like that - spoil yourself. Congradulations!

      I'm a little late on this one but don't even think about setteling for less you will just continue to gas until you get the one.
