How to adjust bias? Bias pot? Where?
Ok, i have a peavey classic, old, solid state preamp, 2 power tubes. How do i adjust the bias!!!!

That amp might have a fixed bias, meaning they set it where the average tube operates. If not, you'll see a small white trimpot somewhere near the power tube sockets on the inside of the chassis. Most likely, you just need to throw new tubes in it, and be done.Originally posted by Boogie Bill
