its realy assuring to know other people like your new instrument too
i'll try to put on some soundclips later on this week, when i'll come up with something good.

i water the Air Norton, it seems to sprout from there

part JEM? coz it has a vine-like inlay?

I hate Ibanez with a Passion, but that one doesn´t look (or as far as features go, sound) half bad.

But, like Hoss said, NEW STUFF ROCKS

btw, how's the neck? is it that ****ty paperthin wizard2 or whatever neck it is that ibanez likes to sport? or is it more comfortable, jackson style stuff?

they call it Prestige Ultra neck.
i reckon its not as thin as the wizard necks, but its still very thin.
the finish on it is satin gloss, so the back doesnt feel like a chunk of maple, but has that finished smoothness to it which realy kicks ass.

i was more attracted to this instrument by its tone, but i couldnt ignore the fact that the guitar is such a player

i love the open humbucker cavities, the pickup rings just get in the way during sweep picking :fing25:

Awesome Guitar man! I have an Ibanez Petrucci model which has the Steve Special/Air Norton. They are some awesome pickups!

Not a huge fan of ibanez RGs (went through an RG/Jem phase back when it was the fashion of the day in the late 80s), but I do know that the mahogany body models are the best sounding ones. Enjoy...
